Taya is a nurse practitioner, certified midwife, and certified functional medicine practitioner. She holds a BA from Michigan State University, a BSN from Wayne State University, an MS from the University of Michigan, and an IFMCP through the Institute of Functional Medicine.
She works with individuals across the lifespan to identify and address the underlying drivers of illness, creating a space where patients feel seen, heard, and empowered. Taya provides care to adult men and women, as well as adolescent females after the onset of menstruation.
In addition to being a wife and mother of three grown children, Taya has years of experience integrating yoga, meditation, and energy work into her holistic care. She deeply honors the physiological design of the body and believes these mindfulness practices provide powerful tools that are useful throughout a person’s entire lifespan.
Building on her foundation as a Certified Nurse-Midwife, she brings this dedicated, whole-person philosophy directly to her current practice at the Center for Holistic Medicine.
